Acupuncture is used to treat a variety of conditions including: lameness, arthritis, nerve dysfunction, digestive problems, allergies, asthma, and heaves.
Most animals learn to enjoy acupuncture and will often fall asleep during treatment.
Animals treated include: Horses, cows, sheep, goats, alpacas, llamas, dogs, and cats.
Dr. Michelle Johnson is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. She completed her training at Colorado State University. Dr. Johnson believes that acupuncture can work well in conjunction with traditional medical treatments.
