Acupuncture:

Acupuncture is the practice of inserting  small, thin needles at various points along the body to influence the function of the nervous system and internal organs.

Acupuncture is used to treat a variety of conditions including:  lameness, arthritis, nerve dysfunction, digestive problems, allergies, asthma, and heaves.

Most animals learn to enjoy acupuncture and will often fall asleep during treatment.

Animals treated include:  Horses, cows, sheep, goats, alpacas, llamas, dogs, and cats.

Dr. Michelle Johnson is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist.  She completed her training at Colorado State University.  Dr. Johnson believes that acupuncture can work well in conjunction with traditional medical treatments.
